Enjoy this flatbread on its own or with some guacamole or hummus!
Ingredients
2 cups spelt flour
1/2 cup spring water
1/4 cup grapeseed oil
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp thyme
1 tbsp rosemary
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1 tsp pink himalayan salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Directions
To begin add the dry ingredients for the flat bread together in a large bowl and mix thoroughly. Then, slowly add spring water and grapeseed oil until a dough ball can be formed.
Drizzle some grapeseed oil over your hands to stop the dough from sticking to your hands. Place the dough on a clean floured surface and knead by stretching it between both hands continuously, you will need to do this for about ten minutes until the dough is very springy and stretchy. Add more spring water if too dry and more flour if too wet.
Separate the dough into 5-7 equal parts.
Roll out each part into thin circles or oval shapes.
Add grapeseed oil to a saucepan and cook over medium heat for 2-4 minutes on each side or until golden-brown.
